Q. What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating your store?

A. My biggest challenge was just navigating and getting a sense of all the things I could do in the admin panel. However, I know how easy Shopify is suppose to be to use, but I really didn't know that I could put together a fully functioning store in under and hour and feel confident!

Q. What worked really well when using our platform.

A. Setting up the apps was really easy. Not sure if there's a guideline given to the external app developers but the one I set up literally took care of everything for me. Now I have a review widget on my page.

Q. What could be improved when using our platform. 

A. The only thing that tripped me up was the Settings button in the far left bottom corner that is home to a few things I needed but didn't know were there. Because everything was typically in it's own section above I thought that was where everything for functionality would be. However setting up payments was in settings, it may be better to bring payments out into this main nav list.

Q. How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?

A. It feels overwhelming at first but once you get into playing around with it things are quite smooth. I can see though how someone is very weak with technology may have a hard time navigating and finding exactly what they need to change.

Q. What is your biggest takeaway from this experience?

A. That it's really easy to put together a basic store.
